QR & Barcode Scanner Easy
Just point it at the code. And before you open a web address, the app tells you if something is off.
What it does
- Reads QR codes and product barcodes, with the camera or from a photo you already have.
- Checks the address before you open it and explains, in plain words, what does not add up: a name imitating a well-known site, a numeric address instead of a name, an unprotected connection.
- Creates new codes: your home Wi-Fi, a link, a contact, a barcode. To save, share or print.
- One switch and all the text gets bigger.
It collects nothing
The app does not connect to the internet: it sends no data to any server, ours or anyone else’s. The codes you read stay on your phone and you can delete them whenever you like. There are no accounts and no sign-ups.
One thing to know
The address check is help, not a guarantee: it relies on rules written into the app, not on any inspection of the website. Never enter passwords or card details on a site reached through a code you found somewhere.
