About

PRG Space is the name under which Davide Pergola publishes software. It is not a company with departments: it is one person who designs the products, writes the code, writes the words on these pages and answers the emails.

What is here

Each product has its own place, and this site is the way in. KAI Fitness for training, One Boat Games for the games, and QR & Barcode Scanner. Open a tile on the home page and the card opens underneath it; Full page takes you to the product's own site.

How the products get made

Every product starts from something concrete to solve, and tries to solve it the simplest way that holds. Three consequences follow, and they are visible in the products rather than just stated here.

• A feature goes in only if it earns its place. Less interface between someone opening an app and the thing they opened it for.
• Data at a minimum. Each product collects only what it needs to do its job, and what that is, is written in its own privacy policy — not summarised here in a friendlier way.
• Limits are said out loud. If something does not work, or works only up to a point, the product says so where the choice is made, instead of being discovered later.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or pass on personal data. Not to advertisers, not to anybody.
• No account where an account is not needed. Some products need one; most do not, and those do not ask for one.
• No dates until they are real dates. «Coming soon» on this site means it is being worked on, not that a month has been decided and kept quiet.
