Find the words. Save the stories.
Wordkeeper is a word search game for iPhone. Drag your finger across the grid to uncover hidden words on themed boards, follow an illustrated story chapter by chapter, take on the puzzle of the day or race the clock in Arcade. Five spare minutes or a whole quiet evening: it works either way.

From the grid to the story
The parts you will actually spend your time in, and what each one is for.

A quiet place to start from
The game opens on a painted valley and never really leaves it: the same landscape follows you into every mode. Underneath sit the ways in, and the coins you have earned so far wait in the corner.

Words hide in every direction
Drag your finger over the letters: horizontal, vertical, diagonal, forwards or backwards. The list at the top ticks itself off as you go, and when a word will not come there are three different hints waiting at the bottom, each with its price in coins.

Four ways in, depending on the day
Story to follow a tale chapter by chapter, Challenge for a different puzzle every day, Arcade to survive levels that keep getting harder, Play for endless grids where you pick the size and the theme. The same game underneath, four different moods.

Chapters that open one at a time
The tale is divided into chapters, and each chapter into parts. The stars say how cleanly you cleared a level, and the chapter ahead stays closed until the one you are in is done. The first is the Tome of Nature: the forest first, then the meadows.

Find out what Elysa finds
Words are beginning to disappear from the world, and Elysa is one of the few who notice. Between one grid and the next an illustrated scene moves the story on, in a world of villages and hand-copied books where writing still counts as sacred.

One puzzle a day, and a month to fill
A different grid every day. The calendar keeps the whole month in front of you, with a tick on the days you cleared and today waiting to be marked. Skip a day and the square stays empty, but you can go back and open it later by paying in coins.

Here the clock is the opponent
Levels that get harder one after the other, and a countdown that keeps running through all of them. Every run ends on a number, the level you got to, and that number is the one to beat the next time you open the app.

Play in English or in Italian
Wordkeeper carries a hand-picked collection of English and Italian words, and the language of the app, of the words and of the story are three separate settings: you can read the interface in one and hunt words in the other. Colourblind mode, high contrast and the size of the letters on the grid adjust too. For questions or problems, write to the address below.
